Léon Delachaux réalise un portrait en extérieur

Objectives and missions

“I do not know of any other artist in today’s school of painting, within the confines of his genre, who approaches Delachaux: either in the execution, or the preference for truth, nor for the precious gift of staging [a composition].”

François Thiébault-Sisson, “Exposition Galerie Silberberg”, in Le Temps, February 10, 1903

Created in 2012 by Marie Delachaux, great-granddaughter of Léon Delachaux, the Léon Delachaux Endowment Fund’s mission is to retrace the life and work of the artist.

Art historians, researchers, and consultants develop essential tools for research, analysis, archiving, conservation, and communication.
