Marie DELACHAUX, President, Great-granddaughter of the artist
Long-time shareholder and director of the Groupe Delachaux – taking over from her father – Marie Delachaux grew up surrounded by the work of her great-grandfather, the artist Léon Delachaux. In 2011, she wished to devote herself to the Léon Delachaux Endowment Fund in order to reconstitute the human and artistic journey of her great-grandfather.
Véronique MARESCHAL, Member of the board, Patron of the Endowment Fund
Wealth Manager at Kiplink Finance, an asset management company in Paris, Véronique Mareschal is founder of an association at Kiplink for working and enterprising women. Involved in developing wealth management plans for family philanthropy, she is an ardent supporter and patron of the Léon Delachaux Endowment Fund.
Jean-Valentin de BERNIS, Member of the board
A graduate of HEC and founder of Quingest, a family office in real estate, Jean-Valentin assists families in investing their assets. Omnipresent in his profession is the value of transmission, promotion, development and sustainability — key ingredients that constitute the Endowment Fund’s vital principles. These shared values and his keen interest in art led him to become part of the project.
Olivier VALMIER, Member of the board, Art Historian
A graduate of Sciences Po and the École du Louvre, Olivier Valmier is an auctioneer at Aponem in Paris as well as a representative for Sotheby’s in Aquitaine (Bordeaux). His responsibility is to keep an eye on the art market, acquiring works by Léon Delachaux when possible. Within the Fund, Olivier also takes part in research missions and is in charge of the catalogue raisonné.
Stéphanie DELACHAUX PHILIPPOT, Member of the board, Great-great-grandchild of the artist
Marie Delachaux’s niece, Stéphanie is a law school graduate, arbitrator and attorney at the Paris Bar practicing real-estate law. She plans to use her professional assets and expertise to promote the Fund’s objectives. Thanks to research on her ancestor, Léon Delachaux, she also hopes to cultivate her artistic knowledge alongside passionate professionals.
