Léon Delachaux’s work in private collections

The Delachaux family has amassed the largest collection of works by the artist. Included among their most emblematic paintings are numerous works commissioned by distinguished collectors who were patrons of Léon Delachaux, such as the Duchess d’Estissac and her family, the Baron Edmond de Rothschild, Marcel Kapferer, Harrison Earl (United States), Léon Gallet and Albert de Luserna (Switzerland), Carlos Madariaga (Argentina) and Edward Aleksander Raczynski (Poland), all contributing to the dissemination of Delachaux’s art.
A number of these portraits are now in public collections.
